Joanna McKethan

“This is the third of her books and my favorite thus far. In all three of her books you know the feeling that the author has visited and lived in the countries she describes. You read with a sense she has really done her research and knows what she is talking about. She is a part of the stories she writes as her imagination flows and the story develops. Once I got started, this book was hard to put down. I wanted to “see” her sculptures; I wanted to walk the halls of the castle; and I definitely wanted to eat the food and “taste” the culture. The artist and historian in me came alive as I love European and Russian history. Well done – I really loved this book! Highly recommended reading!”

“I had a hard time putting A Deadly Provenance down. The mystery kept me coming back for more, the artistry that was a large part of Lexi’s life helped to show how the character was feeling even when she wasn’t sure herself, and the historical aspect was absolutely thrilling from beginning to end.”
